Republic Services will begin delivering new recycling and trash carts in a couple of weeks.
All recycling carts will be the 65 gallon size that we are all now using. But there is a choice for the refuse (trash) carts: you can opt for a 'yuge' 95 gallon or a petite 35 gallon size.
You will receive the 65 gallon size unless you call Republic Services at 913-281-4343 ASAP.
The old Waste Management (Deffenbaugh) carts will be picked up the last week in December.
More information is here, in a special edition of Village Voice.
